PHIL BODIE, Managing Director

Phil Bodie has extensive experience within the vehicle finance industry, having begun his finance career at Forward Trust, part of Midland Bank (now HSBC) in 1990. Phil went on to work for vehicle finance subsidiaries of Lloyds Bank and ABN AMRO Bank, before establishing Commercial Vehicle Leasing (CVL) in 1997, a hire purchase and leasing brokerage dedicated to financing just commercial vehicles and trailers.

In 2005, CVL established Coach Finance as a separate division of the company which focuses entirely upon financing new and used coaches.

Since the beginning CVL has funded more than £30 million of commercial vehicles and trailers and has a customer base in excess of  150 clients which are a mixture of transport companies, own account operators and vehicle rental businesses.

Phil Bodie is 100% committed to CVL and Coach Finance, and is passionate about customer service. The business will shortly celebrate it’s 10th anniversary, and is looking forward to the next decade and beyond!

LOUISE WELSON , Regional Manager

Louise Welson has recently joined CVL to develop business from the North of England and Midlands regions. She brings with her a wealth of sales and marketing experience having come from the hotel and car sales industry. Louise most recently worked as a sales manager for the Accor hotel group, and previously was a sales executive for a major BMW dealership where she gained considerable knowledge of vehicle leasing and hire purchase. Louise looks forward to a fresh challenge, and to developing long term working relationships with businesses in her territory.
